Quote to invoice, for fitters
FROM QUOTE TO PAID, BUILT FOR FITTERS
Describe the refit in plain English: strip out, first fix, tiling, units, worktops, second fix and making good. An itemised quote writes itself across every stage. Win it and the stages become your job sheet, the materials become your shopping list, and the invoice comes off the schedule they already agreed.
It knows a refit is six trades in a row
A kitchen or bathroom is the job most likely to be underquoted, because it is really half a dozen jobs stacked up. Describe it once and each stage gets its own lines, its own materials and its own labour.
Full bathroom refits
Strip out, first fix, tanking, tiling, sanitaryware, second fix and making good, itemised stage by stage.
Kitchen installations
Units, worktops, appliances, plumbing and electrical connections, with the making good allowed for.
Wet rooms & level access
Formers, tanking, falls and drainage, priced properly rather than as a standard bathroom with tiles.
Cloakrooms & en suites
The small rooms that take almost as long as the big ones, quoted with the same detail so they still pay.
Kitchen & Bathroom Fitters: frequently asked questions
Can it quote a whole refit rather than one trade at a time?
That's what it's built for. Describe the refit and it comes back as named stages, like strip out, first fix, tiling and second fix, each with its own materials and labour. Win the job and those same stages become the job sheet you tick off on site.
How do I take a deposit for the sanitaryware?
Set a payment schedule on the quote, for example a deposit, a payment midway and the balance on completion. The customer sees and agrees the split before the job starts, and you raise each invoice against it afterwards without retyping any figures.
What if the customer supplies their own units or suite?
Delete or zero those material lines and the quote is your fitting and your labour. Their own purchases never appear on your price, and the stages and the schedule work exactly the same.
Refits always grow. How does that get charged?
Say what the extra is in a sentence and it gets priced off the same day rate and materials as the original quote. They approve it on their phone before you do it, and it appears on the invoice as its own agreed item. It is never quietly added to the final stage, which is what starts arguments.
