One price. Not per user.
Most job management software charges you per user, per month, and makes you build a price book before it does anything. This is one price for the lot, and it starts working on the first job you describe to it.

Questions
How does the free trial work?
You get 14 days, unlimited quotes, and we don't ask for a card to start. The clock begins on your first quote, so you can sign up and come back to it. After the 14 days you'll need a subscription to make new quotes. Everything you've already made stays yours. Not for you? Walk away. No hard sell.
Are the material prices accurate?
Prices come from our catalogue. Always double-check with your supplier before quoting. We show you everything so you can adjust.
Can I use it on my phone?
Yes. Works in your browser right now. No download needed. iOS app coming soon.
What kind of work is it for?
Sole traders and small firms. Anything from a £200 tap to a £50,000 refurb, across whatever trades you cover. We take it from the first quote all the way to the final invoice. You price the job once and everything after that fills itself in.
Can I invoice from it?
Yes. Once a job is won you can invoice it without typing anything out again: deposit, stage or final payment, off the payment schedule your customer already agreed to on the quote. Invoices are numbered in order, show the VAT split, carry your address and bank details, and download as a PDF. You also see the moment your customer opens one.
Do I still need Tradify or Xero?
Not for quoting, running the job or invoicing. That is the whole point of starting at the quote instead of at the job. We are not accounting software though. We do not do payroll, VAT returns or bank reconciliation, so if you already file through an accountant or Xero, keep doing that. What you stop doing is typing the same job into two different places.
What happens when the job changes?
You describe the extra in a sentence and the same engine that priced the job prices it, off your day rate, your region and the same material prices. Your customer gets a link, taps yes, and only then does it become billable. That way the first they hear about extra cost is before you do the work, not on the final bill.
How do I get paid?
Bank transfer, the way the trade already works. Your account name, sort code and account number go on every invoice, along with the invoice number to use as the reference, so your customer can pay without having to text you and ask. We never touch your money. Taking payments on your behalf is a regulated business, not a feature, and it means there is no card fee coming out of your work.
I'm not VAT registered. Does it still work?
Yes. Before your first price we ask if you're VAT registered. Say no and your quotes and invoices go out without VAT. You can change it any time in Settings, or switch it for a single quote.
Is my data safe?
Your account is protected with industry-standard security and your jobs stay private. We don't sell your data. Your account, jobs and quotes are stored in Ireland, in the EU. BuilderBuddy is run by Builder Buddy App Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 17240195. We never take payments on your behalf, so no card fees come out of your work.
When is the iOS app coming?
Soon. Join the waitlist and you'll know first.
